Final Fantasy Versus XIII was a game that was supposed to release on the PlayStation 3 as part of Square Enix's Fabula Nova Crystallis series, but it never came to be. Due to corporate mismanagement and plain bad luck, the game faced endless delays and even a rebranding, becoming Final Fantasy XV.

In this shrine, I detail my personal journey with this game, its complicated development history, its legacy, and how it may impact games in the future.

This isn't meant to tear down Final Fantasy XV fans (I was one of them!) but I will be quite a bit harsh on the game. My opinions will be kept within the “MY JOURNEY” section of this page, and I'll try my best to be as objective as possible in other sections.
